Accessibility Statement

Kelly Collins is committed to making this website accessible to everyone, including people who use assistive technologies and people with disabilities. We believe music belongs to all listeners.

Our commitment

This site aims to conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA, the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines published by the World Wide Web Consortium. We work to maintain and improve accessibility on an ongoing basis as the site grows.

What we've done so far

Color contrast meets or exceeds WCAG AA thresholds for body text and interactive elements. Pages use a logical heading structure to support screen readers and keyboard navigation. Images include descriptive alternative text. Audio and video players include native controls and keyboard support. Links are clearly distinguished from surrounding text. Forms include labels and error messages associated with their inputs.

Known limitations

A few things we're still working on: some embedded music videos are hosted by third parties (YouTube), and their player accessibility is governed by the platform rather than this site; auto-generated audio waveforms or visualizations (where used) may not include text alternatives; older blog posts or archived pages may not yet meet the same standard as the rest of the site. We're addressing these as resources allow.

How to reach us

If you encounter an accessibility barrier on this site — anything that prevents you from listening, reading, or navigating — please let us know.

Email: kelly@kellycollinsmusic.com

When you write, please include the page or feature where the problem occurred, a short description of what happened, and the assistive technology or browser you were using, if you know. We respond to every report and aim to fix critical issues within a reasonable time.

Compatibility

This site is designed to work with current versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge, and with screen readers including VoiceOver, NVDA, and JAWS.
